Our oil tank installation team are fully conversant with the requirements of the oil storage and building regulations and are personally supervised by our Managing Director who holds OFT 600A registration.

Our policy is to undertake a site visit, without obligation and to discuss with the client their exact require ments. This is followed by a written quotation for the work.

Oil Tank Installation typically involves base preparation fuel transfer, pipework reconnection and redundant tanks disposal.

Oil Tank Installation Advice
When we install the oil tankers we use only quality oil jointing compound and PTFE tape when jointing.

We recommend that experienced and qualified fitters like ourselves install all oil tanks properly. Below are a few points that should be taken into consideration when fitting the tanks:

Do not overtighten pipework when fitting
While the tanks are very robust, they can be damaged if abused
Tanks must not be filled at a rate exceeding 400 litre/min
Always check the product for damage before installation

Typical Arrangement of Bottom Outlet The Oil tanks and associated pipework should be sited in accordance with BS 5410: Part 1: 1997 and OFTEC publication T1/131.

The fitted Oil tanks and associated pipework and fittings should all be inspected in accordance with OFTEC publication T1/120 with particular reference to clauses 2.4 and 3.4.

It is essential that the entire base area of the tank is supported. The support must be fireproof and extend 300mm on all sides.
